Lightweight, recreational canoes such as the Princess, Trapper, Trapper LW and Seneka are ideal for solo paddlers. These models are easily transported and are excellent for flat-water use. Many paddlers use a double-ended kayak paddle when soloing in these small boats. Our Sliver and Seneka canoes, being a little longer have a larger carrying capacity, are also available in a tandem canoe configuration. The Twister is a lively freestyle canoe. The rounded bottom and narrow beam make this the ultimate freestyle canoe. If you're not into freestyle canoeing it can be used as a nice play or workout canoe for the experienced paddler.

SUBARU DOG TESTED & APPROVED

We absolutely love this advertising campaign, they could have made it just for us! We love dogs as much as Subaru does and we love them even more when they are in a wooden canoe. Here are the cast of characters posing in an American Traders Trapper 12 canoe. If you haven't seen the TV Ads then check out Meet the Dogs on Subaru's web site and watch the videos. There's a lesson in how to reverse (jackknife) a trailer and a fabulous camping video.
