Rustic cedar furniture is made from Northern White Cedar. This is a superior choice for log furniture because of its beauty, practicality, and durability. The Northern White Cedar used in our products is a creamy white color that weathers to a silver-gray color when left out in the sun. Cedar is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. Because of this, all of our Rustic Natural Cedar products can be used indoors or outdoors, and may be left completely unfinished, treated with sealers and oils such as Preserva-Wood, even stained or painted. Whether you choose to finish them or not, each piece will be a durable, beautiful addition to your home or garden.
All Rustic Log Furniture is subject to the natural process of checking. Checking happens as wood releases moisture, and normally occurs across or through the annual growth rings. It is the usual result of wood seasoning. Checking does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. In fact, we think it adds to the rustic character of your furniture--every piece is different!
Usually orders will arrive in about 10-14 days, but may take up to 3-4 weeks depending on availability. Because of their size and/or weight, items marked with a * must ship via common carrier, additional shipping fees may apply.

SUBARU DOG TESTED & APPROVED

We absolutely love this advertising campaign, they could have made it just for us! We love dogs as much as Subaru does and we love them even more when they are in a wooden canoe. Here are the cast of characters posing in an American Traders Trapper 12 canoe. If you haven't seen the TV Ads then check out Meet the Dogs on Subaru's web site and watch the videos. There's a lesson in how to reverse (jackknife) a trailer and a fabulous camping video.
