Warranties

Our Warranty

All American Traders products come with a minimum 1 year unconditional warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Our Wooden Canoes carry a 3 year warranty and rustic natural outdoor furniture a 5 year warranty. Warranty does not cover defects caused by modification, alteration, physical abuse or misuse of the product. If any product is proved defective we will replace, at our discretion, the defective part or the whole product at no charge to you. To obtain warranty service, you must return the product or part to American Traders at your expense.

Returns and Exchanges

If an item arrived damaged or was otherwise defective when you received it, please call customer service immediately or no later than 7 days from receipt at the number above and we’ll arrange to have it shipped back at our expense. If you’d like a replacement, one will be sent out to you as soon as possible, or we can refund you for the item. When you believe the contents of a package have been damaged - particularly in cases where there is obvious visible damage to the packaging, either open the boxes and determine the state of the product, refuse delivery of the packages or note the damage on the drivers delivery paperwork. Do NOT sign for the items free and clear.

If you would like to return a product, we ask that you notify us of the return before sending it back to us at the address below. American Traders will not accept goods without prior notification. Clearly mark your package "PRODUCT RETURN" and include the packing slip you received with your shipment. Please send the item back in the original packaging, securely wrapped, prepaid and insured. American Traders will not accept items shipped to us C.O.D. Items returned within 30 days will receive a full refund less actual shipping and handling charges, items returned after 30 days will receive American Traders store credit for the appropriate amount.

Products that are special order, have been customized or finished specifically for you are non-returnable and the sale is considered final.

International sales and shipments are non-returnable, non-refundable and the sale is considered final.
